Focus groups on Quality Assurance
Within the activity of situational analysis for the introduction of quality assurance practices in teacher education, QATEK project organised four focus group sessions with the representatives from local partner universities, responsible for internal quality assurance processes, during September 28 to October 2, 2020.
The focus group sessions were facilitated by Kätlin Vanari, Head of Centre for Innovation in Education, School of Educational Sciences at Tallinn University.
The purpose of focus group sessions was to determine challenges related to internal quality assurance mechanisms embedded within initial teacher education institutions operations, as well as to discuss modalities for introducing a quality assurance policy to improve quality assurance and enhancement practice within those within local partner institutions.
The proactive focus group discussions with local partner universities will serve as the basis for developing the project’s intervention plan in providing harmonised quality assurance mechanisms and practices in partner initial teacher education institutions in Kosovo.
