FOCUS GROUPS ON TEACHER EDUCATION (TE) PROGRAMMES
Within the activity of situational analysis on the current practices of teacher education in light of the intended teacher professionalism, QATEK project is currently organising four focus group sessions with the representatives from local partner universities, responsible for TE programme content and implementation, which are being held from October 6 and will follow until October 13, 2020. The focus group sessions are facilitated by Prof. Dr. Eve Eisenschmidt School of Educational Sciences at Tallinn University. The purpose of focus group sessions is to determine the current status in the way teacher educators deliver their courses by identifying the main changes that need to aspire through capacity building and course revision activities.
The focus group discussions are a foundation for developing the initial teacher education policy for local partner universities.
