The project has finalized the situation analysis report on teacher education programming in Kosovo
The project has formally finalized and approved the situation analysis report on teacher education programs in Faculties of Education participating in the project. The reports were shared and approved by the participating universities in Kosovo (namely University of Prishtina, University of Gjilan, University of Gjakova and University of Mitrovica). The report provides an analysis of how teacher education programs in Kosovo respond to and reflect the competency profile for teachers. The competency profile has been drawn from the Kosovo Strategic Framework on Teacher Development which outlines a number of key competences demanded form teachers upon graduation from teacher education programming. The report identifies the gaps in certain skills but particularly so in the dimension of values and attributes that need to be addressed more adequately in future. Full report can be accessed HERE.
